Connect AI

“Connect AI” lets an AI assistant you already use — such as ChatGPT or Claude — read your shop's ledger and record into it, with your permission. You ask in plain words and it answers from your own numbers.

What is it, in plain words?

You ask

“How much did I sell this week?” “Who owes me?” “What's running low?” — answered from your shop's data.

You instruct

“Record a sale”, “a customer paid off some debt”, “add an item” — it is recorded in the app as if you had done it.

You stay in control

You choose what it may do, cancel the link in one tap, and watch how much it used this month.

Step one: create the link in the app

Only the shop owner or partner can do this.

  1. Open the app, then “More”, then “Connect AI”.
  2. Choose what the AI may do (read only, or read and record), name the link, and tap “Create the link”.
  3. Copy the link that appears right away: it is shown once and cannot be shown again. If it is lost, create another.

The link needs a plan that includes it, and it may not be available in every country or plan yet. If you don't see it in the app, check “Plans” there. Some AI tools also require their own paid plan to add a custom connector.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT on the web, then Settings → Apps & Connectors.
  2. Turn on Developer mode in the advanced settings, then choose to create a new connector.
  3. Enter any name, paste the connection link as the MCP server URL, and choose “No authentication” — the link itself is the secret.
  4. Save, enable the connector in a new chat, and ask: “Summarise my shop today.”

Claude

  1. Open Claude on the web, then Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose “Add custom connector”.
  3. Enter a name, paste the connection link as the URL, then “Add”.
  4. In a new chat, enable the connector from the tools menu and ask about your shop.

Other tools (via REST)

Any program, script or automation tool that can send a web request can use the connection. Use the same connection key in an Authorization header.

List the available tools (no key needed):

GET https://get-rafeeq.com/api/v1/biz/tools

Run a tool (key in the header, JSON inputs):

POST https://get-rafeeq.com/api/v1/biz/tools/shop_summary
Authorization: Bearer ‹key›
Content-Type: application/json

{}

Full description in OpenAPI format:

GET https://get-rafeeq.com/api/v1/biz/openapi.json

The link shown in the app contains the key after “/mcp/b/”. Put it in the header as Authorization: Bearer <key>.

What the AI can do / What it cannot do

What the AI can do

  • Read: sales, profit and expenses summaries, items and stock, debts and customer balances.
  • Record: a sale, a customer's debt payment, a new item or stock change, and an expense — as far as you allow.
  • Every record carries a unique key, so a repeated request is never double-counted.

What it cannot do

  • It never deletes anything — corrections are made in the app.
  • It only reaches this shop's business data, and never other shops.
  • It never goes past your limit without you knowing: after your plan's monthly calls, each call uses some of your AI points, and it pauses when they run out.

Common questions

Can the AI see my personal data?

No. The connection reaches the shop's business data only.

Can my staff create a link?

No. Creating and cancelling the link is for the shop owner and partner only.

What if I reach the monthly limit?

Once the month's calls are used up, each call uses some of your AI points (1 per call), and you can buy more points. When the points run out the connection pauses until you buy more or next month starts.

Does it cost anything?

It counts against your plan's monthly limit; you'll see the number on the “Connect AI” screen.
